COMBINATION pH ELECTRODE EPP-1

The EPP-1 combination glass electrode is designed for pH measurements in clear liquids. This electrode can’t be used for measurements in waste water or other liquids with deposits and corrosive chemical compounds.
The electrode is distinguished by low impedance, short stabilisation period and linearity at the ends of measuring range.
Plastic body protects from breakage.
The gel electrolyte is not replaceable but makes using the electrode easier. The electrode has a round glass membrane.
Next to the membrane a ceramic junction which enables the contact of the measured liquid with the electrolyte was placed.
The BNC connector enables using the electrode with most of the pH meters.
The EPP-1 does not require activation because it is equipped with a bottle filled with 3 M KCl put on its end and taken off before the measurement. Such solution makes the electrode permanently activated and prolongs its life time. A special sealing ring protects from the electrolyte leakage from the bottle. The ring is tightened by screwing the bottle cap.
